"With my eye and with my hand" is a dedication to every man who has hesitated before one of many thresholds of the unknown and finally crossed into darkness, either perishing or adding a bit more light and a bit more space for himself and others. "Man of action" states that the urban man, in order to survive, must solve the problem of being in two or more places at the same time. "Indeterminant figure" shows that our vanities seduce us into ideal images of what to be and to do with our floundering selves. Humans select the sounds and sighs which support their illusions and try to ignore all else.

Choreography of the period has been carefully studied and reproduced and the students do a variety of dances solo, in pairs, or in groups, dressed in period costumes. The program is gracefully woven together with the reading of a long 18th century poem entitled The Art of Dancing, by Soame Jenyns.

- Tari-tarian di Bali Dances of Bali : Baris Katekok Jago and Kebyar Dudak 198
- The origins of Baris dances are quite old. In the Kidoeng Soenda, a Javanese romance of the Majapahit dynasty (1275-1477 A.D.), there are described seven kinds of Baris performed during cremation ceremonies of the famous king, Hayam Wuruk. It is only within the last hundred years that, with plot and heroic characters, a dramatic form of Baris has emerged. Kebyar is a Balinese dance form of fairly recent origin. In North Bali in the early part of this century, a style of musical interlude known as gamelan gong gradually evolved into Gong Kebyar, a music rich in dynamic variations. Working with this muscical form, I Mario, from Tabanan in the South, developed a new dance composition, Kebyar Dudak. Kebyar means a sudden flash or explosion and the music of Gong Kebyar is full of flashing rhythms and exploding harmonies.
