History-North America

Rutgers University Libraries comprises over twenty libraries and centers in New Brunswick, Camden, and Newark, but the most substantial collection in American history is located in the Alexander Library on College Avenue Campus. There are also significant resources for women's history in the Douglass Library, the women's studies library on Douglass Campus. You can have books delivered from library to library using the "delivery/recall" feature in IRIS, our online catalog. Items not held by Rutgers University Libraries may be requested through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan. Special Collections and University Archives is located in the basement of Alexander Library. All library resources can be accessed from the Libraries' homepage at: www.libraries.rutgers.edu.
